754C3 Connector

  • Used effectively on most 753 and 754 Series Switches
  • Positive Wiring Connections
  • Individual Terminal Insulation
  • Reduces Terminal Amp Losses
  • Reduces Terminal Burnout

Terminals used with the 754C3 Connector:

AMP uses a ‘‐1′ to denote brass and ‘‐2′ to denote tin at the end of their numbers. All terminals have a ‘tang’ that will lock them to the connector; however, a mating dimple will lock the  connector/wires to the switch, if applicable.

AMP Terminals with a Mating Dimple
Sometimes referred to as a ‘locking’ terminal, it has an indent that snaps into the hole on the terminal of the switch and ‘locks’ the connector to the switch. This feature is useful in a heavy duty or high vibration environment.

P/N 42281 (18 ‐ 14 ga) or (.8 ‐ 2.0 mm2)
P/N 60249 (16 ‐ 12 ga) or (1.0 ‐ 3.0 mm2)
P/N 160914 (10 ga) or (5.0 mm2)

If the connector (754C3) is used in conjunction with this type of terminal, we recommend making only 1 of the 5 terminals locking. This recommendation is based on the fact that the amount of pressure used to assemble the connector to the switch is increased proportionate to the number of locking terminals. If wires are to be attached individually, it is recommended to use a locking connector on all 5 wires.
